Little by little, our vocation has evolved. Over 40 years of activity, our early clients such as butchers and supermarkets were joined by delis, fruit stores, pastry shops, bakeries, spice stores, caterers, hotels, wholesalers, transformation and manufacturing plants  as well as a large and varied number of restaurant operations.

It goes without saying that our product offering has also expanded substantially.

If you are looking for a particular kind of tray, ecological container, a cheese wrap or an orbital packaging machine, we can help. Need a bag made from recycled paper that’s printed and has a window in it? We’re there for you, and we can even assist with the design and suggest multiple solutions for each of your packaging needs.

250 staff members, 3 locations in Quebec, 40 delivery vehicles, 32 representatives on the road and 14 internally, 185,000 sq. ft of warehousing, but above all, a wealth of accumulated expertise from people who care and know how to help you get things done.

Since our founding in March, 1971, Carrousel’s priority has always been customer satisfaction, in terms of product quality as well as in excellence of service. 

What that means for our customers.

Our quality policy stipulates that every company employee, whatever their function, guarantees quality products and customer service in their every activity.  That means providing rapid service, minimizing ordering error and delivering a quality product.

Concretely, to ascertain that staff have nothing less than thorough knowledge of their duties, work procedures and instructions are detailed in writing. Every step from order taking to delivery has been reviewed to make sure the customer gets the right product by the agreed-upon date.

In addition, efficiency, a sense of camaraderie, and flexible relations with staff at all levels have enabled us to implement open-door management policies so that we can quickly respond to changing market conditions. In this working atmosphere, decisions are made without undue delay.

The company’s success has only been superseded over the years by the pride we feel in uniting 250 professionals whose daily contributions help us remain a leader in our industry.

Carrousel is extremely proud to be a major member of the Balpex buying group. Balpex brings together around 50 food, industrial and maintenance packaging suppliers across Canada. Balpex’s mission is to negotiate favourable agreements with suppliers that help its members maintain growth and competitiveness year after year.
